History/Description:
Omizu and her twin Okumi are the spirits of a single girl, Kumi Mizu. She was a kind girl with a great life ahead of her, but she ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time. While walking home from school on a rainy day, she happened to stumble upon a scene of fresh murder, the killer still present. She attempted to escape, but tripped over her heels and was left at the killer's mercy. The man slit her face from ear to ear and stabbed her a number of times before throwing her body into a rain gutter, where she slowly bled to death while being rained upon. Because of the way she died, her spirit was halved, becoming an ame-onna (rain woman) and a kuchisake-onna (slit-mouth woman).

Omizu is the kinder of the sisters, her powers stemming from Kumi Mizu's loving heart. She doesn't talk much and seems to always listen to what her sister says, even when she knows that it's out of rage and not thought through. When by herself, she is thoughtful and level-headed, and will smile easily. If angered, however, she will open her eyes and become a seemingly different person, more like her sister.

Both Omizu and Okumi have a very close relation to another spirit, Kalehan, whom they have known for as long as they can remember. They will sometimes act as if he were their older brother, but their relationship stems far deeper than a family relationship.
